This song shares a lot of similarities with Scream, lyrically. Up In Flames deals with an apocalyptic tale told through the eyes of a being of chaos. The metaphor behind the song is a puppet-master orchestrating the end of the world.


Fun Facts:

**This is the bands oldest song dating back to almost three years before the band even formed.

**The intro was improvised in the studio and ended up with a sort of Western 'ghost town' feel.

**The song features the most vocal tracks on the album. Listen closely to hear a creepy, low, 'growled' voice on the first and third lines of the verses.
