Scream

from Osara by Osara

/

about

The song has a central theme of anarchy and paranoia of governmental control. More or less, being sick of watching the world degrade.

Fun Facts:

**This is the first song we ever wrote as a band.

**The intro riff is a Colton Beasley creation that Dallas continuously played wrong (the wrong playing ended up on the album).

**The lyrics were composed during a church service!

lyrics

We have lost all control this time,
Now we watch before our eyes
As they take what is yours and mine
Stealing away human lives
And the leaders you deified
Propagated every lie
As they ship our men out to die

When divided we stand
Then united we fall

We hear the pounding of the drums
What are we waiting for
Now the time has come
To rise up and scream for war

Here's where we draw the line
One look around and you can see
Signs of the end of time
The air becoming hard to breath
People are crying out
Begging for a change persistently
Will we just shut them out

When divided we stand
Then united we fall

We read the writing on the wall
What are we waiting for
We hear the masses call
To rise up and scream for war

We hear the pounding of the drums
What are we waiting for
Now the time has come
To rise up and scream for war

When divided we stand
Then united we fall

We hear the pounding of the drums
What are we waiting for
Now the time has come
To rise up and scream for war
